He is survived by: his children, Alisha Howard (Brad Howard), Marcus Cortez (Stacey Cortez) and John Cortez; his siblings, Carlos Cortez, Marie Hernandez, David Cortez and Rebecca Esquivel; and his daughters, Delores Kay Cortez and Gloria Riojas Espinoza. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
