He was predeceased by: his mother Eloisa Garza Barrientes. He is survived by: his father Jose V. Barrientes, Sr.; his children, Brittany Barrientes Hester (Eric) of Pearland, Joclynne Clarkston (Bryer Davis) of Colorado City, Aldan Garza (Mandy) of Pearland and Layton "Biscuit" Clarkston of Colorado City; his grandchildren, Madison Garza, Aviana Garza, Kaleigh Hester and Brayden Hester; and his siblings, Felipe Barrientes (Mary), Jose Vasquez Barrientes, Jr. (April), Gregory Barrientes (Joanna), Samuel Garza Barrientes (Christy), Noel Barrientes (Sheila), Andrea Chavira, Sylvia Roblez (Gilbert), Sara Pierce (Monty) and Irma Reyes (James). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Word of Life Assembly of God (5173 S Bryant Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904).
