She was predeceased by: her parents, B. F. Hayes and Gracie Bracken Hayes; and her brothers, Kenneth Hayes and Kyle Hayes. She is survived by: her husband Andrew P. Smith; her sons, Andy Smith, Jr. (Shana) and Clayton Smith (Tamie); her grandchildren, Justin Smith, Madelyn Smith, Will Smith (Ashley) and Ross Smith; her great grandchild Will; and also, Sutton and Shaw Smith. She is also survived by her family, friends.

Memorials can be made to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center in San Angelo.
