She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Smith and Lela Smith; and her sister Francis Nance. She is survived by: her husband Benny Cowan; her daughter Kim Livengood (Bobby) of San Angelo; her grandson Christiaan Livengood (Destyne) of Dallas; and her siblings, Margaret Grimes of El Paso, Carolyn Stasik of Bladenboro and Richard Smith of High Point.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Robert Massie Funeral Home (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903).
