He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Sharon Maldonado (Teo) of Corpus Christi, Debra Melott (James) of San Angelo, Thomas Quintela (Rosie) of San Angelo and Christy Smith (Ben) of Snyder; his grandchildren, Brittany Cibrian (Pete) of Corpus Christi, Corbin Smith (Ashley) of Snyder, Kaitlin Silvas (Derrick) of Refugio, Mallory Khantharasy (Dylan) of San Angelo, Nick Melott (Brooke) of Des Moines, Hannah Orwick (Brayden) of Burleson and Cheyenne Quintela of Austin; his great grandchildren, Luke, Jordan, Ramses, Aiden, Gavin, Aubrey and Milo; and his siblings, Socorro Olivas of Monahans and Ofelia Talavera of Cleburne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
