He is survived by: his wife Anita Gonzalez; his children, Jerald Gonzalez of San Angelo, Jaqueline Rodriguez of San Angelo, Jesse Gonzalez of San Angelo and Brittany Miramontes (Alonzo) of San Angelo; his siblings, Hilario Gonzalez (Maria) of San Angelo, Humberto Gonzalez (Yadira) of El Remolino, Norma Castillo (Luis) of Del Rio, Yolanda Castaneda (Rogelio) and Alicia Rodriguez (Jose) of San Carlos; and his grandchildren, Daniel Rodriguez, Aveya Miramontes, Azeden Miramontes, Jessa Lee Gonzalez, Jesse Gonzalez II, Azaley Miramontes, Avery Miramontes, Jerald Gonzalez II and Alec Miramontes.

Viewing was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (8602 Loop 570, San Angelo, TX 76905). A rosary was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
