He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Zula Miller; his children, JJ (Lisa Miller), Connie (Dean Smith), Naomi (Jeff Nichols), Bertie (Michael Yonan), Gary (Jackie Wells) and Lorraine Nichols; his grandchildren, Hailey Miller, Billy Eugene Wells, Charlotte Schmidt, Heather Seider, William Parker, Alana Allen, Christopher Wilkson, Brian Oyer, Jessica Pond, Jeremy Turner, Gary Wells Jr., Davey Tom Wells Jr., Patrica Wells and Jennifer Wells; his siblings, Bobby Miller, Louise Miller and Dinky; his son-in-law Percy Oyer; his son Davey Wells Sr.; and his grandchild McKenzie Renea Doty.
He participated in many church events and charity organizations.
