She was predeceased by: her parents, Horton Messer and Bertha Story Messer; her sister Marjorie Winburne (Charles); her son Robert Lynn Motl; her husband Calvin Ross Motl; her daughter-in-law Terri; and her brother-in-law Charles.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Holley (Don) and Arthur Horton Messer; her daughter Lisa Ann Motl Peace of Willis; her grandchildren, Mason Ross Motl (Jordan Gradel) of Austin, Scott Ryan Motl (Leah) of Dallas, Lindsey Peace Johnson (Matt) of Magnolia, Shelby Lynn Eckel (Trent) of The Woodlands, Paige Peace of Houston and Callie Peace Conoley (Cam) of Fredericksburg; her great grandchildren, Cole Michael Johnson, Cameron David Johnson and Silas Robert Motl; her son Steve Motl of San Angelo; and her daughter-in-law Rory Lee Motl of San Marcos.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens (4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, TX 76905).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Methodist Church San Angelo.
