He was predeceased by : his parents, Eligio Fernandez and Emilia Olguin Fernandez; his siblings, Jose Fernandez, Anastacio Fernandez, Marcial Fernandez, Margarita Fernandez and Enriqueta Fernandez; his wife Anita; and his children, Jose Carrillo, Mike Carrillo, Juanito Fernandez, Yolanda Fernandez and Robert Fernandez.
He is survived by : his children, Teresa Terrazas (Mike), Elsa Rodriguez (Roy) and Johnny Fernandez (Sonya); his siblings, Ernesto Fernandez, Margarito Fernandez, Trinidad Fernandez and Amalia Fernandez; his grandchildren, Michelle Chapa (Daniel), Jason Fernandez, Lisa Terrazas (Casey Straughn), Andrew Fernandez (Monica), Roy Rodriguez and Lorenzo Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, Olivia Tobias, Michael Chapa, Isabella Chapa, Baylee Fernandez and Memphis Leopard; and his great great grandchild Camila Hernandez.
