He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann Perez; his children, Jose Ernesto Perez, Mark Anthony Perez, Maria, Carmen Perez, Marta Isabel Lewis and Xavier Perez; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Miles Miller, Aiyana Monet Branch and Joaquin Xavier Perez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (210 St Ann St, San Antonio, TX 78201). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
