He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Dominguez; his parents, Jesus P. Avila and Natalia H. Avila; and his brother Jesus H. Avila. He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Ann Gutierrez, Mary Ann Avila, Yvonne Avila, Brenda Avila and Laura Avila; and his siblings, Linda Avila Flores (Wayne), Tomas H. Avila (Mary) and Martin H. Avila (Diana). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, many family members and friends.
