She was predeceased by: her parents, Candelario Gonzales and Consuelo Sanchez. She is survived by: her children, Charles Sheppard (Yuvonka) and Yvette Bennett (Demetrious); her grandchildren, DeShan Hester, Gregory Threat, Eric Threat, Rene Threat, Shamica Sullivan, Krystal Young and Charles Sheppard III; and her sisters, Mary Ann Johnson and Toni Williams. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the F. E. Lewis Memorial Chapel (811 S WW White Rd, San Antonio, TX 78220). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
