He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Merle Dillard and Luz Gonzalez; his son Gary Dillard; his siblings, Edith Lopez, Henry Dillard, Edgar Dillard and Johnny Gonzalez; and his cousin Nacho Garcia.

He is survived by: his wife Merced O. Dillard; his children, Belinda Dillard, Eric Dillard (Julie), Jeff Dillard and Allen Dillard, Jr.; his siblings, Teresa Rodriguez, Charlotte Lara and Marcelo Gonzalez; and his cousin Lilly Garcia Tejadilla. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and extended family.
