He is survived by: his wife Lydia Guerrero; and his children, Santiago (Alicia Deleon Murillo), Carmen Murillo Yañez (Rafael Yañez), José T Murillo, Fernando (Linda Nava Murillo), Lazaro (Hilda Mauricio Murillo), Catalina Murillo Jayasi (Juan), Jayasi, Patricia Murillo, Anastacio Murillo Jr. (MaryAnn Gonzalez), Elizabeth Murillo, Saul (Christina Garcia Murillo) and Samuel Murillo. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
