She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tommy" Salame, Sr. and Wenseslada "Lala" Salame; her brother Thomas Alden Salame, Jr.; her former husband Walter Sitz; her brothers-in-law, Dario E. Vidal, William E. Hardin, Sr. and Domingo V. Ramos, Sr.; her niece Roxanne Ramos; her mother-in-law Anita Vasquez; and her brother-in-law David Vasquez.
She is survived by: her aunt Annie; her daughter Laura Sitz-Treviño (Bobby); her stepchildren, Erica Graciano (Joe) and Mark Castillo (Monica); her grandchildren, Adrien, Darien (Jaliene Rayo), Jared, Arabella, Jonathon, Jonas, Mark Jr., Alyssa and Aliana; her great grandchild Elias; her siblings, Lupe Salame Vidal, Oralia Salame, Elisa Salame Hardin, Sandra Salame Galvan, Jesse Salame, Sr. (Delia), Jose Alonzo Salame (Wilma), John Salame (Pat) and Edward Salame (Margie); and her siblings-in-law, Luis Vasquez (Lupe) and Olga Villarreal (David). She is also survived by her children and siblings.
It was music that kept her connected to family while struggling through her last years of Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia.
