She was predeceased by: her children, Booker T, Charlotte Jackson and Melvin Jackson; and her sisters, Samantha "Pat" Johnson, Irma "" Short of Georgia, Lucille "Joe" Nolan and Mary Lee Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Barnet of Louisiana, Wallace Barnett and Bonnie Vegas of San Antonio, Texas.; and her sisters, Booker Jean Thomas (Tom) of Lawton, Carrie Louise Thomas of Lawton and Jequetta "Kitty" Saxon of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
