With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Armando S. Hernandez (San Antonio, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 64. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Hernandez and Olivia Hernandez; his grandparents, Maria B. and Carlos G. Segovia; his aunt Ramona Segovia; his sister Elsa H. Villarreal'; his sibling's children, Crystal Villarreal (Josh Snavely), Briana Villarreal and Ignacio Villarreal Jr. (Adrianna); his pets, Rocky, Big Ears, Bullet "Gibblet", Christina Esquivel and Laura Garza; and his friends, Lucia Newton and Ramiro Alvarez. He was also cherished by cousin—he was a father figure to his nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. A rosary was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A burial was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the San Fernando Cemetery (746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
