He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. C. Raymond Nelson and Ruth Nelson; his siblings, Patricia Nelson Baker and Dr. Calvin R. Nelson; and his pet Lacey.

He is survived by : his spouse Greg Musquez; and his cousin Ruth Wahl of Indiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to The ASPCA (https://secure.aspca.org) in Bruce's Honor.
