He was predeceased by : his father Jose Maria Flores; his sister Anabella Flores; and his daughter Anna Caroline Flores. He is survived by : his mother Maria Esperanza Flores (Pineda); his wife Esperanza F. Flores; his children, Karla Maria Romero and Juan Carlos Flores; his grandchildren, Richard A. Romero, Kailey C. Romero, Charles A. Flores and Anthony A. Flores; and his siblings, Mirian Haydee Melgar, Jose Mauricio Flores and Roberto Flores.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset North Funeral Home (910 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
