He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gertie R. Tate (Jefferson) and Melvin Burris; his former wife Myrtle Burris (Harris); his stepson Harold Meullion; his wife Virginia Burris; his stepson Corey Jefferson (Tamika); his stepgrandchildren, Tea and Corey, II; his granddaughter April Meullion; his great grandchild Aaron Meullion; and his sister Loreen Harris of Plattsburgh, Missouri. He was also cherished by relatives and friends.
