He is survived by : his wife Rose; his daughters, Deanna and Reilli; his grandson Matthew; his sisters, Jennifer and Melissa; and also Laura. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with several brothers and sisters in law.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
