David L. Porter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce that David L. Porter, age 61, our crazy fun-loving father, son, brother, family member, and friend passed suddenly on March 3, 2020, at home in San Antonio, TX.
David served 2 years in the Navy upon high school graduation. He graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1998. After graduation, he set up a practice in San Antonio. He was an exceptionally gifted healer.
He was an avid outdoorsman and workout enthusiast. He had a sharp wit and a wonderful sense of humor. He deeply touched the lives of those who knew him and was quick to bring a smile. He had a gusto for life.
David is survived by children Anna Noble, Chelsea Porterfield, and Christine Porter, and grandsons Dakota Akridge, Hunter Porterfield, and Roan Swanson, Stepfather-Bruce Patterson, Siblings Donna Strickland, Linda Gregson, Sherry Hewitt, Mark Patterson, Stewart Patterson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
We know David was greeted in heaven by his Mother, Patsy Patterson.
David was cremated and his ashes were released to the sea at Oak Island Beach, North Carolina.
