He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Woods (J. Woods, Sr.) and Dr. Bernice Woods; and his siblings, Mary Jane Woods Fields, Melvin, Jule Norman Woods, Sr. and Kenneth Dale Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Woods; his children, Armisicha, Delonda (Garrick), La Danyel and Daveon; his grandchildren, Destiny, DeWhite and Garrick; his siblings, Prenilla Lewis Paulette Douglas (Billy), Muriel Woods and Gregory Woods (Sandra); and his friends, JoAnn Benjamin and Russell Turner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels (14315 Judson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
