It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elva Gonzalez (San Antonio, Texas), born in San Benito, Texas, who passed away on October 20, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Teofilo Arreola and Petra Garcia Arreola; and her siblings, Wenseslado Arreola, Alfonso Arreola, Juan Arreola, Jose Arreola, Elida Gonzales and Lillie Ramos.

She is survived by : her husband Mario L. Gonzalez; her children, Andy Lee Martinez, Linda Palomo, Hilda Perkins and Sandra Rivera; and her siblings, Lidia Belleza, Noema Muniz and Luis Arreola. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
