He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Grona Zerr and Emil Martin Zerr Sr.; and his siblings, Gladys Gunderman, Clifford Zerr, Dorothy Gee and Earl Zerr.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Freeman Zerr; his children, Sharon Boren (Jim), Debbie Legler and Bill Zerr; his grandchildren, Sarah Sheehan (Dugan), Hope Retzloff (Colton), Nick Legler, Grant Boren (Kailey), Emily Boren and Jordan Zerr; and his great grandchildren, Quinn, Foster, Violet, Mason, Braxton and Hayes.
