She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Garza and Avelina Garza; and her son Preciliano Medina. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Moreno (Juan), Diana Sanchez (Elisandro), Maria Theresa Suarez, John David Guerrero (Gina), Miguel Guerrero and Phyllis Leija; and her sister-in-law Roberta Medina. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
