The passing of Federico Raul Saenz of San Antonio, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 80. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Federico Saenz and Rebecca Saenz; and his brothers, Alfredo Saenz, Octavio and Oscar Saenz.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Saenz; his children, Sandra Teitelbaum, Julie Montes (Oscar), Christina Bacic (Brian), Scott Wagoner (Sarah) and Brent Wagoner; his siblings, Mary, Ophelia, Oralia, Richard, Lydia and Cynthia; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Taylor, Aaron Teitelbaum, Devon, Aleah, Dominick Montes, Mason Bacic, Owen, Aubrey, Brynn, Landree, Lillian and Lexi Wagoner.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2059, where Federico was the Post Commander 2010, 2011, and 2014.
