It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fernando Zulaica (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernando Sr. Zulaica and Felis Zulaica; and his siblings, Rogelio Zulaica, Humberto Zulaica, Angelita Olivarri and Rose Mary Zulaica.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Zulaica; his daughters, Angela M. Leal (Aaron Leal Sr.), Melinda Zulaica (Gary Jurek) and Kathleen Zulaica (Daniel Villalobos); his grandchildren, Aaron Leal Jr., Jeremy Leal, Erica L. Leal, David Anthony Nieto Jr., Jessica Serna, Amberly Nieto, Adrienne Govea, Samantha Trevino, Mei Jurek and Caitlyn Shaylor; his great grandchildren, Izabella of Diego, JD, Marilyn Nicolas, Elijah, Yareli, Kalista, Kendall, Andrielle, Elyana, Maximiliano, Emila, Felix and Zoey; and his brother William Zulaica.
