She is survived by: her sons, Martin Eugene Schmitter and Daniel F. Gonzales Jr. (Maryann Flannery); her grandchildren, Chanel Clarisse Contreras (Ray), Deborah Rodriguez, Daniel Gonzales III, Michael Schmitter and Nicole Celeste Gonzales; and her brother Frank Ortega Jr. (Mary Helen). She is also survived by 2 Great-Grandchildren.
