He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Monica Mata; his wife Laura Diane; and his daughters, Jaclyn Cantu (Jarred) and Valerie Hernandez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels North (3401 Cherry Ridge Dr, San Antonio, TX 78230). A rosary will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (1314 Fair Ave, San Antonio, TX 78223). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at the Mission Burial Park South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214).
