She was predeceased by: her parents, Melana Matt and Oskar Matt; her husband Dale; and her brother Kurt Matt. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bain (Meeka), Andrew Bain (Lari) and Denice Bain (Mary); her sisters, Else Geiss and Margot Leitz; and her grandchildren, Emily, Anthony, Lauren and Brandon. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and a loving extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA).
