He is survived by: his son Gilberto Hernandez Jr. (Yvonne).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home (2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at the San Lorenzo Cemetery (10554-10620 Stuart Rd, San Antonio, TX 78263).
