He was predeceased by: his parents, Gonzalo Canales and Guadalupe Canales (Flores); his siblings, Jose, Benny Canales and Lucinda Garza (Arnoldo Sr.); his son Carlos Canales; and his great grandchild Jett Elijah Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Erlinda Enriquez Canales; his daughters, Alma Garza (Marcus) and Annabel Canales; his grandchildren, Matthew Baker (Alexia), Hilary Holmes (Joey), Andrea Canales and Jon Skow Canales (Stevie); and his great grandchildren, Isabella Canales, Carly Garibay, Mason Skow, Axel Baker, Willow Skow and Hazel Holmes.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Castle Ridge Mortuary (8008 Military Dr W, San Antonio, TX 78227). A rosary was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
