As we bid Gordon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gordon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Sr. Parkhill and Miriam Parkhill (Cooper); his sisters, Ruth and Jean; and his son Mike (Ellen).
He is survived by: his nephew Sean (Valerie). He is also survived by friends, adopted daughters.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Texas West High Flight Chapel (5100 John D Ryan Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78245). The Parkhills moved to Air Force Village/Blue Skies West in 2001, where they played bridge, read to Vista patients, attended church services, served Sunday lunch for local family, explored San Antonio and travelled, until the pandemic slowed them down.
