She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernardo Mata Cortez and Maria Luisa Cortez; and her son Ralph Cortez. She is survived by: her husband Manuel S. Perez; her children, Adolph Mejia (Patricia), Rene Mejia, Lisa Ann Perez (Michelle) and Laura Ann Perez (Crystal); her grandchildren, Amberlynn Destiny Mejia and Adolph James Mejia III; and her siblings, Janie Lozano (Domingo), Gloria Contreras, Rudolfo Cortez (Maria Estela), Albert Cortez (Brigida) and Florinda Loera (Johnny). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
