He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Garcia and Maria Ramos Garcia; and his sisters, Estella, Herminia, Lydia and Josefina.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary M. Garcia; his daughters, Libby Garcia (Rachel), Olivia Anderson (Judson), Regina Garza (Leonard Barragan), Melissa Suarez (Julian), Roberta Salas and Rosemary Martinez (Christopher); his brother David Garcia; his grandchildren, Johnathan, Steven, Justin, Brittany, Amber, Zachary, Dereck, Thomas, Amanda, Julian, Malachi, Dionicio, Alena and Christopher Jr. "C. J." Additionally; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Samuel, Simon, Jaziah, Malanie, Juliette and Jasmine.
