He was predeceased by : his parents, Martina M. Carrizales and Rutilio Guevara; his stepfather Juan Carrizales; and his brothers, Louie Carrizales and Augustin Carrizales.

He is survived by : his wife Irene Martinez Guevara; his son Hector Guevara Jr.; his grandchildren, Jacob Guevara, Jade Guevara, Joaquin and Julian Guevara; and his brother Juan Carrizales.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Trevino Royal Oaks Funeral Chapel (203 E Frio St, Pearsall, TX 78061). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
