With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ilene Fater of San Antonio, Texas, born in Spring Hill, Kansas, whose life came to an end on October 10, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fern Timmons and Raymond Timmons; her daughter Joni Fater Hartness; and her husband Bill Fater. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Hutchins (Johnnie) of Woodstock, GA and Karen Gottfried (John) of San Antonio, TX; and her grandchildren, Jenna, Shanon, Jessica, Janice, Stacey, Sandra and Steven. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218).
