It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Wheat Francis of San Antonio, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gladys McCulloch Wheat and John Veale Wheat; her husband Sidney J Francis II; and her brother John W. Wheat. She is survived by : her brother Joe F. Wheat of Houston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (510 Belknap St, San Antonio, TX 78212).
