It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janis Redeana Stringfield (San Antonio, Texas), born in Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie May Pearson and Ila Magdelene Pearson; and her sister Jenny Rebecca Beal. She is survived by : her husband Austin Stringfield; her children, Eve Helmig, Steven Stringfield and Joe Johnson; her children-in-law, Michael Winn, Angela Stringfield and Johannah Murphy; her grandchildren, Charlee Helmig, Bradyn Johnson, Lily Anne Johnson, Gemma Stringfield and Eden Koester-Stringfield; and her aunt Bethel Scarborough. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to Crossroads Baptist Church for the intended purpose of purchasing a new piano for their sanctuary.
