He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mayfield and Maria Teresa Mayfield. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Maldonado; his sons, Jonathan and Ian (Patsy); and his siblings, Mark, Diane, Eddie and Ana.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Angelus Funeral Home Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (223 E Summit Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (11624 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, TX 78253).
