He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Jack Irving Pollock; his sons, Jon Michael Pollock (Mary Helen Snowden) and James Patrick Pollock; his former wife Karla Clayton Pollock; his grandsons, Jack Tobin Pollock and Jon Ellis Pollock; and his brothers, James Edwin Pollock (Cynthia) and John Rives Pollock.

“My condolences to your family from Marisa and I, Rikk Mendoza. I met Jerry as a home health patient but became friends for our mutual interest in art, music and history. We would visit Jerry regularly but after Covid lock down, didn't see him as much but would go when possible and we'd go out and eat or assist him with errands. He was a caring, super intelligent and talented man, gave me good advice when asked of him and was always loyal friend. We will always remember you Jerry and honor you.”
