He is survived by: his wife Helen Pankowsky; his son Jacob Alonso; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Morris; his father-in-law Jaime Pankowsky; his siblings, Nino, Anamary and Carmina; his brother-in-law Julio Lucas; and his nieces, Charito González Alonso, Shirit Eshed (Laura Dunlevy) and Dr. Kimberly Heller. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
