With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Ramirez Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ramirez, Sr. and Diamantina Cortez Ramirez. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Ramirez; his son Joseph; and his siblings, Diana Pontti (Mike), Herlinda Bryant (Paul), Rebecca Salazar (Lupe), Esperanza Barela (Ron), Philip Ramirez (Terry) and Elizabeth Garza (Simon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brookehill Funeral Home (711 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph South San Catholic Church (535 New Laredo Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78211). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Mission Burial Park South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214).
