He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Aguirre; his grandson Tommy Perez; his siblings, Willie Aguirre, Ramona Aguirre, Dominga Mojica, Louisa Bustillos, Virginia Gonzales, Antonia Ramirez and Eusebia Aguirre; his wife Mary H. Aguirre; his brother Epifanio Aguirre; his children, Sophia Aguirre Garcia (Manuel Garcia), Gilbert Aguirre (Mary Lou Aguirre) and Dolores Aguirre Serna (Lupe Serna); and his grandchildren, Michael A Garcia, Alyssa M Garcia, Elizabeth Singh, Mary Perez, Gilbert J Aguirre Jr., Beatrice Alonso, Adam R Aguirre, Daniel Serna, Lucas Serna and Joshua Serna.
