She was predeceased by: her parents, Artis Scott and Winnie Scott; her husband Joe Sidney Matlock; and her siblings, Mary Ethel Bailey, Edna Murl Cox and Billy Dale Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Matlock Bush (Randy) of Fredericksburg, TX, John Matlock (Sharyl) of Hondo, TX and David Matlock (Lora) of San Antonio, TX; and her brother Artis Glenn Scott (Jean) of Cleveland, TX. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Town or charity of your choice.
