He is survived by : his daughter Jennifer Cortez (John); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jacqueline Cortez and Evie Humlicek; his brother Larry Humlicek (Barbara); and his close friend Jack Simon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
