He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jesus, Lazaro Jr. and Pedro Gutierrez. He is survived by: his children, Jeanette Martinez (Kevin) and Joe Anthony Gutierrez (Jennifer); his sister Aurora Gamez (Robert); and his grandsons, Marc A. Gutierrez, Brian A. Martinez and John A. Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels (3401 Cherry Ridge Dr, San Antonio, TX 78230). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (1710 Clower, San Antonio, TX 78201).
