He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Mendoza and Irma Mendoza; and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his wife Adriana Mendoza; his daughters, Katherine Mendoza and Cynthia Contreras; his granddaughters, Nevaeh, Nylah and Nayanh; and his sisters, Rosario Haghighatian (Reza), Lucy Ramos (Paul), Maria Spongberg (David), Anita Gibbs, Celia Mendoza and Alma Mendoza. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (1602 Thousand Oaks Dr, San Antonio, TX 78232). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266).
