We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2025, at the age of 88, Josephine Arriola of San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Castilleja and Anita Gonzales; her husband Albert Arriola; her daughters, Annie Arriola, Rebecca Zapata and Ruth Silva; and her grandsons, James North and Stephen Silva.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel North (Alton), Albert Arriola, Pauline Lomas (Eusebio), Raymond Arriola, Mary Ann Carbajal (Albert) and Dora Boyle (Ryan); her sister Ramona Vega; and her grandchildren, Eric North, Brittany Heye, Denise Zapata, Michael Zapata Jr., Dominique Silva, Jennifer Silva, Jonathan Silva, Roxanne Arriola, Albert Arriola, Albert Carbajal Jr., Stephanie Carbajal, Andrew Carbajal, Kristopher Boyle and Patrick Boyle. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel (2502 S WW White Rd, San Antonio, TX 78222). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Heritage Oaks Mortuary (2502 S WW White Rd, San Antonio, TX 78222). A procession will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the San Fernando Cemetery (746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
